Keep your Model Figure after a Baby

Keep your Model Figure after a Baby

It's natural and inevitable that carrying a baby for nine months and then giving birth will have changed your body dramatically. Your abdominal muscles were stretched to the limit to accommodate your growing bump, and the extra weight elsewhere is what nature laid down in preparation for breastfeeding. However, supermodels like Giselle seem to shrug all this off and bounce back like nothing has happened.

In a recent interview, she even said her eight-hour birth 'didn't hurt in the slightest'.To find out how this can happen, we met the world's best paid supermodel emerged sweaty and glowing after she enjoyed one of her daily intense workouts.

A keen yoga practitioner, the 29-year-old gave birth to son Benjamin in December. She has since and even during pregnancy done many photo shoots for brands across the world. In fact, the model snapped back into runway shape just weeks after giving birth.

Here she reveals how post-birth she regained her figure instantly with little more effort than some yoga and a Kung Fu sense.

'I think it's muscle memory,' she told us with a grin.

She also admitted that she has been doing continuous exercise throughout her pregnancy: 'I did Kung-Fu up until two weeks before Ben was born, and yoga three days a week.'

Wow. That is active!

Giselle, who is married to Tom, gave her say on where some women go wrong when pregnant.

The Brazilian model said: 'I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposal.’ Sounds harsh, but the world of female modelling is extremely cut-throat. You snooze, you lose.

'I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds,' she added proudly. Many women over eat during pregnancy but she never gave up on her figure. She has since gone back to modelling without any problems, as the world’s richest model.
